Manila Madness is a performance film-screen dance presentation that runs down the life of the urban streets of Manila in the Philippines, through a ritualistic performance of a young masked woman seeming endless passage to find the ultimate destination of life and death.

He is admired by the children on the island and he is interested in learning the island song as well as drinking with his men. Toe is an elementary school teacher on Kakeromajima and she has feelings for Saku.

Through scenes of both comedy and tragedy, realistic documentary footage and experimental sequences of the director's environment and daily life we get a sometimes estranging image of a young man and also an intriguing insight in his mindset and how this translates to the imagery on screen.
