Ray White. We meet Jesco's three distinct personalities; the gentle and loving Jesse, the violent and dangerous Jesco, and the extremely strange Elvis. We also encounter various members of Jesco's family, all nearly as eccentric as Jesco himself. You will ask, "Are these people for real?" Yes, they are.

Carmina Burana

Carl Orff's Carmina Burana is one of the monumental achievements of 20th century music. This cantata for orchestra, chorus and vocal solo voices was premiered in 1937 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Today you will see this work performed by the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Slovak Philharmonic Choir, the Bratislava Boys Choir and soloists Andrea Vizvári, Aleš Jenis and Daniel Matoušek as part of the Ružinov Symphony Festival and the 1st subscription concert of the 93rd season of the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra under the baton of SOSR Chief Conductor Ondrej Lenárd.

The Art of Observing Life

Over twenty years, the Russian documentary filmmaker Marina Goldovskaya interviewed pioneers of American documentaries, such as Richard Leacock, Robert and Anne Drew, Albert Maysles, D.A. Pennebaker, Jonas Mekas, among others. When he grew up, nature took care of carrying him back to the sea, where the mermaid is waiting for him. The Mermaid and the Diver is a journey to Central America, to Nicaragua, to the Atlantic Coast, and to the Miskito people.
